This time, the exhibition titled [Aesthetics of Duplicate － Gaze the Ultimate Reality] (Display period: Feb.06, 2024 ~ Apr.20, 2024) will explore, what is “to duplicate,” which can be said to be the primordiality of art. And what is the “ultimate reality” that we gaze at when “duplicating” － the true figure hidden in the depth? This exhibition explores how we approach the “ultimate reality” through a variety of works. Please enjoy a wide range of works on display from painting of Hayashi Takeshi, Hirose Kou, Toshima Yasumasa, Ishida Jyunichi, and sketches and paintings by Yasuda Yukihiko, and wood carvings by Kumakawa Keiun.

　And in ARTIS No.27, scheduled to be published on Feb.01, the same theme related to the exhibition will be contemplated. We will approach how the primordial act of “duplicating” became the root of art through an interview to Shigyo Sosyu and Free Project.
