June 1978
Under the name of Microscience Laboratory, Shigyo Yusuke, presently the president, personally started to practice the study of Fermentation-microorganism, and the correlation between Fermentation- microorganism and food.
June 1984
Established BIOTEC Co., Ltd.
At 3-9-12 Nihonbashi-honcho, Chiyoda-ku. Tokyo.
December 1986
Established Nihon Seibutsu Kagaku Co., Ltd., as the independent manufacturing division of BIOTEC Co., Ltd. Located in Fujioka-shi, Gunma Prefecture.
May 1988
Moved the head office of BIOTEC Co., Ltd.
Location: 2-9-8 Toranomon, Minato-ku, Tokyo.
1992
Obtained five patents on cultivation and separate-extraction method of active ingredients of Basidiomycetous-mycelia, and other Fungi.
November 2004
Established Osaka branch office.

December 2008
Established Memorial Gallery of Toshima Yasumasa.
Location: Inagi-shi, Tokyo
October 2011
Head office building of BIOTEC Co., Ltd. completed and moved the head office to this building.
Location: 1-10 Kouji-machi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and opened a permanent exhibition space of Shigyo Sosyu Collection and Memorial Gallery of Toshima Yasumasa in the head office building.

Company name change.
New name: Nihon Seibutsu Kagaku Co., Ltd. (former BIOTEC Co., Ltd.)
New Name: Nihon Kingaku Kenkyujo Co.,Ltd. (former Nihon Seibutsu Kagaku Co., Ltd.)
November 2017
Head Office Factory of Nihon Kingaku Kenkyujo Co., Ltd. completed, and moved the head office.
