“ARTIS” No.25

　“ARTIS” (Art in Latin) No.25, introducing the collection of our gallery in various perspectives and receiving favorable reviews from the readers, will be published on Oct.01. In the interview to the Director Shigyo Sosyu “The Art Talk,” in commemoration of the upcoming Shigyo Sosyu Collection “Zen and Art” Exhibition (10/28~11/24) held at the Embassy of Spain in Tokyo, the theme of “Wind of Spain” will be contemplated. In Memorial Gallery of Toshima Yasumasa, at the same time, will hold Toshima Yasumasa’s solo exhibition under the same title
“Wind of Spain” Exhibition (10/03~1/26), the first time in three years since the “Fire and Blackness of Jomon” Exhibition at the Akita Museum of Art. Please come and visit both exhibitions commemorating the friendship between the two countries.

　And in this issue of “My Eyes,” Mr. Tanaka Atsushi, who first learned of Shigyo Sosyu through YouTube, has written about his impression of the painting by Hattanda Tomonori with full of a sense of reality. Please read the locus of his special relationship with the painting.
