In 10mtv Opinion, new series titled “Deep Reading of [The Christ of Velázquez]” has started from Sep.09, 2022. Continuing from the previous series interviews by Mr. Kamikura Takayuki, the executive chairman of Imaginia Co., Ltd., Shigyo Sosyu will speak on [The Christ of Velázquez] by Spanish philosopher Unamuno, which is the key to the “Spirituality civilization” that mankind should face in the 21st century after the disappearance of religion.
　
　[The Christ of Velázquez], the first Japanese translation of which Shigyo himself supervised, is a long poem that was born from the dialogue between, Unamuno, a philosopher in the early 20th century, and the painting of Christ by Velázquez in the Prado Museum. The anguish, conflict, and confrontation of the soul that he experienced while facing the image of Christ throughout his life are depicted in a naked manner. The time has come for those of us who have lost our religion to read this poem, relive the agony of Unamuno, and take a step towards a new civilization.

 
It will be distributed once a week on Fridays, and this series will be total of 13 lectures. (The number of lectures may change)
