“ARTIS No.18

　“ARTIS” (Art in Latin) No.18, introducing the collection of our gallery in various perspectives and receiving favorable responses from the readers, will be issued on Aug.08. In this booklet, in the interview to Shigyo Sosyu “The Art Talk,” under the theme of “Intangible Thing,” he speaks on what art is, which is a form that transcends the realm of form.

　On the cover and in [Opening Page] Pursue an Artwork, “Suiyoku （Water bathe）”painted by Hattanda Tomonori will be featured. In [Column] Creators, Takamura Kotaro will be introduced, and in this [Contribution] My Eyes, we will feature magnificent Photograph・Article by Professor Emeritus of Meiji University Mr. Tateno Masahiro.

　The new exhibition “Sur life – Image of Life” (Jul.21, 2022 – Sep.24, 2022) continues to be well received. The exhibition focuses on the art of western painter Toshima Yasumasa and up-and-coming artist Ishida Jyunichi who are the two representatives of Shigyo Sosyu Collection, so we hope to have visit us.
