A photo on my grandmother’s deathday in June and I arranged double-flowered white lilies.
My son is 6 month old.

　In Catholic ceremonial sacred song, there is [Maria-sama no Kokoro (The Heart of Mother Mary)], which is a simple song and even child could understand. There are 5 verses of lyrics to this song, and the state of the heart of the Holy Mother Mary is liken to 5 things.
　As I attended Catholic school from my primary school days and I loved this song, which I sung everyday as a matter of course, and even today I often sing to myself.
　The lyrics of the 4th verse are as follows.

　　　　　　　Maria-sama no kokoro sorewa Yamayuri (Mother Mary’s heart it is Goldband Lily)
　　　　　　　Watashi-tachi mo hoshii shiroi Yamayuri(We also want white Goldband Lily)

　Ever since ancient times White Lily is the symbol of Purity. Especially Goldband Lily has the floral language such as “Chastity”,“Straight Love” “Noble Character” and we could say that it precisely befits the flower for Holy Mother Mary.

　I hope we could live like Goldband Lily, even when flowering in the place where no one notices, yet live embracing pure, simple love and noble character in our heart.
