“ARTIS” No.13

　“ARTIS” (Art in Latin) No.13, introducing the collection of our gallery in various perspectives and receiving favorable responses from the readers, will be published. In this booklet in the interview to Shigyo Sosyu, “The Art Talk,” on the theme of “Jyu no Kokoro (The Heart of Jyu (Mantra),” this issue will explore the meaning of true Art that Art is originally “dedicated to the existence greater than human being.” In “Creators”, introducing a demonic fearlessly dedicated life to Art of photographer Domon Ken. And a fetish-nature of Koshino Jyunko’s artworks will be contemplated in [Free Project].

　In collaboration with the theme of Shigyo Sosyu Collection Exhibition “The Heart of JYU (Mantra) Exhibition” (Display period: Oct.5 ~ Dec.4, 2021), artworks sensing Art possessing unique power “Jyu-ryoku (magical power)” will be displayed. Prayer infused in the object, and the form of “Shoka (Sublimation)” as an offering to Heaven in Hakuin Ekaku, Deguchi Onisaburo, Toshima Yasumasa and also newly possessed artworks of Koshino Junko as well as the artworks of the first public display will be exhibited.
