“ARTIS” (Art in Latin) No.7, introducing the collection of our gallery in various perspectives and receiving favorable responses from the readers, will be published. In this booklet, in the interview to Shigyo Sosyu “The Art Talk,” he speaks on the theme of “Yoru no Seishin (Spirit of the Night),” and observes from the spirituality symbolized by “memento mori –remember that thou must die–,“ in long period of medieval Europe, and the meaning of living together with death, grief and sorrow, which truly invigorates life-energy.
