〈Bo-zu (Figure of a Stick)〉a part, Nakahara Nantenbo

This time, “Yohaku no Bi (Beauty of the Space)” Exhibition (Apr. 20, 2020, Mon. ~ Jul.4, 2020, Sat.) will be held at Memorial Gallery of Toshima Yasumasa (Kouji-machi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo). In this exhibition, starting from Nantenbo’s Zen paintings and calligraphic works, we are focusing on the works prominent in their “Yohaku (the Space), which is the unique Japanese aesthetic sense. Not to be drawn is what is being drawn, White is Black, and we sincerely hope to have you enjoy the profound silence infused with Yohaku (the Space) in this exhibition. We cordially await for your visit to our gallery.
