　This time, Shigyo Sosyu will give a lecture at the 53rd 『Yukoku-ki』(held on Nov.25, 2023 (Sat.) 14:00~16:30, at Seiryo Kaikan Great Hall: 2-16-2 Nagatacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), titled “Eternal Mishima Yukio － from His Last Words.” 『Yukoku-ki』is a memorial gathering held every year on the death anniversary of Mishima Yukio, and this year marks the 53rd anniversary of the event, which is hosted by the Yukoku-ki Executive Committee.
　It is a gathering of volunteers that began in the year of Mishima Yukio’s death, with Irie Takanori, Oketani Hideaki, Takemoto Tadao, Tomioka Koichiro, Nakamura Akihiko, Nishio Kanji, Hosoe Eikoh, Matsumoto Toru, Muramatsu Hideko and others as the representative promoters. Shigyo Sosyu, who will be speaking on stage this time, has had direct contact with Mishima Yukio since he was a high school student, and in this lecture, he will mainly introduce the words of Mishima that he heard directly in his later years, and will talk about the soul of the “Eternal Mishima Yukio.” One of the two lecturers of the 53rd Yukoku-ki (Former House of Councilors Member Nakanishi Satoshi will give a one-hour lecture in the first half). Shigyo will be on stage for about an hour from around 3:00pm. There will be an opening address by Tomioka Koichiro, former director of Kamakura Museum of Literature, and a closing address by Matsumoto Toru, former director of Mishima Yukio Literary Museum.
