My son 3 months old. Even in early spring,
he is already sweating just after falling asleep.

 The temperature is gradually raising like summer and along with damp air, the season to worry about night-sweats has come. Are you having a good sleeping life?

 Especially for babies and children, it is not too much to say that night-sweats are a common problem for all. I have previously written an article on room temperature and heat-rash, and they are closely related to night-sweats. Babies and infants are not only premature in their body temperature adjustment function, they easily sweat because of their active metabolism and their body temperature tends to be higher than adults are. And especially just after fallen asleep, baby’s body sweats a lot trying to lower the body temperature at once. My son sweats a lot especially during 3 hours after he falls asleep, and the sheets and bed mat become soaking wet.

 When these sweats stay over infants’ skin, as their skin function is premature, their skin will be injured by the sweats, and easily cause eczema and heat-rash. And according to the latest research of pediatrics・dermatology, when such skin troubles occur and fail to take proper measures and the skin troubles are prolonged, and then some other allergen may be taken in from the inflamed part and there may be a danger of causing higher risk of allergies such as food-allergy, house dust and allergies related to daily living, and atopic dermatitis.

 And when sheets are wet with sweats, it may cause a chill in sleep and catch cold, and in many cases, waking up with the discomfort of being chilled may start night crying and fretting. When this happens, whole family will be involved and everyone shall suffer from the night-sweats.
 
 In order to avoid it, of course changing pajamas and beddings for summer use, and lay out one more bath towel or sweat-absorbent mat over the sheets are necessary. And if the towel or mat is wet awhile after falling asleep, it may be a good way to pull out the wet towel or mat then the sleeping condition will considerably improve.

 It is the same with adults, and especially during the rainy season, as the moisture does not dry up, so dry the wet hair completely, and do not leave it half-dried before going to sleep. And if you are already wet with sweat, change the shirts before going to sleep. And by taking such measures, the quality of the sleep will improve. Let us improve the quality of our sleep and maintain the physical strength free from summer fatigue.
