With the Counselor from the Embassy of Spain

　 The counselor from the Embassy of Spain has visited “Zen and Bushido” Exhibition presently held at our gallery. He has a great interest in Zen and the works of Japanese pictorial art and calligraphy, and he himself visits Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines. It is a great honor to have his visit to our gallery today.
　It was particularly impressive that he stood quite a long time before the art works of Yasuda Yukihiko. The personages Yukihiko depict emit a unique presence by the sensitive yet sharp and flexible brush strokes. In this Exhibition, focusing particularly on the theme of Bushido, and numbers of the work of Yukihiko starting from such as Otomo no Yakamochi, Kusunoki Masashige, Hojo Tokimune could be viewed. We will be delighted to have you face the ancient warlords eye to eye.
