This time in 10mtv Opinion, entitled “Art of Reverse Perspective,” Shigyo Sosyu will speak on “Art of Reverse Perspective,” focusing on the artworks donated by painter Mr. Hattanda Tomonori. Mr. Hattanda Tomonori read “Christ of Velázquez” (written by Miguel de Unamuno, translation supervised by Shigyo Sosyu, Hosei University Press) and was moved by it, and donated 13 paintings based on it to Memorial Gallery of Toshima Yasumasa. Seeing the donated works, Shigyo realized that the art he has collected was close to the art of the Byzantine Empire, which was created by the division of the Roman Empire.

New Series will start from Mar.10,2023, and in Shigyo Collection Exhibition Floor, “Fugue of Colors” Exhibition starting from Mar. 07, you can see the artworks recorded in the program. We await for your visit to see the artworks.

 
It will be distributed once a week on Fridays, and this series will be total of 12 lectures. (The number of lectures may change.)
