BIOTEC Information
“ARTIS” (ART in Latin) No.21, introducing the collection of our gallery in various perspective and receiving favorable reviews from the readers, will be issued on Feb.01. In this booklet, in the interview to Shigyo Sosyu “The Art Talk,” he contemplates what it means to capture the fleeting colors with the eye, and how to bring them from the dimension of the universe into the three dimensions of the earth and the two dimensions of a painting. The same theme will be presented in the “Fugue of Colors” Exhibition, which will be held from Mar.07 (Tus.) ~ Jun.24 (Sat.), 2023.
On the cover and in [Opening Page] Pursue an Artwork, Yasuda Yukihiko’s painting “Kobai (Red-blossomed Japanese apricot)” is featured. In [Column] Creators, Salvador Dali is introduced. And in this [Contribution] My Eyes, fresh contribution and waka poems by Ms. Kosaka Moe dedicated to Toshima Yasumasa’s painting [Crepúsculo ̶ Twilight-] is printed.
The current exhibition “Aesthetic of Fluid” Exhibition (Oct.11, 2022 ~ Feb.28, 2023) is favorably held. We hope to have you visit the exhibition featuring Ms. Koshino Junko’s undisclosed newly acquired works, and calligraphies by Mr. Arakida Yasukuni, Shinto priest of The House of Ise Shrine, and the displays that make you feel the dark fluid. Please look forward to the “Fugue of Colors” Exhibition, the theme of ARTIS No.21, starting in March.
It is distributed free with free regular delivery, if you are interested, please contact Memorial Gallery of Toshima Yasumasa (Direct phone: 03-3511-8162).
